Geraldine Wilson

Geraldine Loy Wilson, age 86 of Orem, passed away December 19, 2007 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo from complications due to a Fall. She was not wearing her medical alert necklace at the time.

She was born April 10, 1921 in American Fork, Utah a daughter of Henry Albert and Della Brown Loy. She retired after 30 years at the Utah State Hospital where she worked in the geriatrics unit and was head of volunteer services for the hospital. While there she earned an LPN license and a Psychiatric Technician Certification. Gerry was a member of the LDS Church. She was an active Democrat, she enjoyed Elderquest, plays and travel. Thank you to her many friends for making her life so rich and full, and the wonderful staff at ICU.

Survivors include her daughters, Penny (Ross) Campbell and Sue (Paul) Urie, grandchildren: Ross (Dawnya) Campbell, Christina Campbell, Alex (Andrea) Urie, Caitie Urie; and great-grandson McKay Urie and her dear friend Dorothy Larsen. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne W. Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held Sat. December 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Cascade Chapel at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State St, Orem. Friends may call Sat. from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Prior to the Service.
Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
