Carl Aggenbach (in GMR called Hagenbach. Nassau-Weilburg). Marburg is given as his birth place. He arrived at the Cap in 1763 as soldier. He became a burgher in 1769. His occupation was also listed as a tailor. He married 14 March 1773 Gesina BEUKES. She was baptised 21 Jul 1754 the seventh child of Hendrik Beukes and Christina du Plessis.
