Gertrude Helena Franke

Obituary: Lancaster Daily Eagle, Dec. 29, 1926

Mrs. Gertrude Franke, aged 82 years, passed away last night at 12:45 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Beck, 527 Boyd Street. She had been ill for some time, owing to advanced age. For the past fifteen months, Mrs. Franke had been making her home with Mrs. Beck.

Surviving to mourn their loss are two daughters, Mrs. Beck and Mrs. Chas. Ochs of this city also one son, C. J. Franke, grocer, nineteen grand children and nineteen great grand children.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, with Rev. C. A. Kaumeyer officiating. Burial will take place at the Pannabaker Cemetery in Berne Twp., with J. H. Sheridan, funeral director in charge.

Mrs. Gertrude Franke Summoned by Death

Mrs. Gertrude Franke, 82, died last night at 12:45 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thos. Beck, 527 Boyd St. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thos. Beck and Mrs. Chas. Ochs of this city and one son C. J. Franke also of the city.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. KSU Meyer officiating. Burial will be made in Panabaker cemetery in Berne township under the direction of J. S. Sheridan undertaker in charge.

FRANKE ESTATE

Thomas E. Beck and Carl Franke executors of the estate of Gertrude Franke, deceased, has filed in court all inventory and appraise net of the estate. The total appraisement of the assets is $6405.04 of which the real estate is appraised at $5850 and the balance in personal property. The executors have applied to Probate Court to sell the real estate.
