About Gilbert Howe, Confidential servant to 1st Earl of Clanbrassil
Confidential servent of James 1st Earl of Clanbrassil and one of 5 wittness of his will.

He was a collector of rents on Jointure lands of Ann Countess of Clanbrassil and was granted lands in Ballytrim and Ballygaskin 1648. He resided in Ballytrim from May 1657, and was a farmer. He was High Constable of Killyleagh 1666.
