Gilbert F. McKie

Gilbert F. McKie, son of John Miles Francis McKie and Mary Gertrude Black, was born Oct. 6,, 1899 in Iowa. He married with LENA ALBERTA GAUMER (1903-1983). He died Nov. 7, 1967 and is buried at Ronan Cemetery, Ronan, Lake Co., Montana.

OBIT (11/23/1967, Billings Gazette): POMPEYS PILLAR: Funeral services were conducted in the Assembly of God Church in Ronan for Gilbert F. McKie, 68, of St. Ignatius, formerly of Pompeys Pillar. The Rev. Kenneth Peterson of Great Falls and the Rev. Cam Haverly officiated and burial was in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. McKie is survivied by the widow, at St. Ongatius; a son, Ernest L., of West Linn, Oregon; a daughter, Mrs. Roger Stensland of Seattle, four grandchildren, and five sisters.
