Farmer, Oxford Twp., Sec. 30; P.O. Oxford Junction; ...went to Ohio in 1831 and settled in Delaware Co.; remained about twenty years, then, by 1857, they had moved to Iowa and settled in Jones Co; now owns 105 acres, and has made the improvements. Married Eunice Margaret Grist in Ohio in 1832, and they have had eleven children, nine living-Maria J., John, Mary, Clark, Melinda, Sarah, Anna, James, Howard, George and Helen. He has been School Director, Road Supervisor and Trustee of the Dimond Church.

Son of Jacob and Mary (Ross) Weeks. Possibly buried at Oxford Junction Cemetery with children George and Helen.
