About Gloria Rae Clifford
Gloria attended Benton and Fairfield schools, graduating from Lawrence High School in the class of 1951. On June 5, 1952, she was united in marriage to Roger "Babe" Clifford at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield by the Rev. David B. Howe. They made their home in Vassalboro until 1965 when they built a new home on the Unity Road in Benton. While in Vassalboro, Gloria worked several years at Maine Breeding Co-op. In Benton, she worked at Sebasticook Greenhouses for a short time. She was a very good mother, housekeeper and cook.
