(-17 Oct after 1143). Guillaume de Jumièges names "la sœur de Roger du Ternois, fille de Raoul II, Godechilde" as wife of "Robert de Neubourg" younger brother of "Roger comte de Warwick"[2180]. According to Robert of Torigny[2181], this was the same Godechilde who married Baudouin de Boulogne King of Jerusalem, but he is clearly confusing her with her aunt of the same name who allegedly married Robert de Beaumont Comte de Meulan as her first husband[2182]. "Robert de Novoburgo" donated property to the abbey of Bec-Hellouin with the consent of his mother countess Margaret, his wife Godeheld and his sons Henry and Ralf, by charter dated 1143[2183]. The necrology of the church of Evreux records the death "17 Oct" of "Godeheut uxor domini Roberti de Novo Burgo"[2184]. m ROBERT de Neubourg, son of HENRY de Beaumont Earl of Warwick & his wife Marguerite du Perche (-30 Aug [or 12 Sep] 1159).

Robert de Neubourg (1100–1159)[2] was an Anglo-Norman aristocrat. He was the fourth son of Henry de Beaumont, 1st Earl of Warwick, and inherited his father's Normandy lands, holding Neubourg[3] from Waleran de Beaumont, 1st Earl of Worcester, a Beaumont family cousin, as Comte de Meulan.[4] He was Sire du Ponteaudemer, and acquired other lands at Winfrith, Dorset.[5] He took part in the Norman rebellion of 1118–1119, against Henry I of England, around William Clito. The immediate issue was a conflict with his feudal overlord, Waleran. He rebelled for a short time only,[6] being burnt out of Neubourg. It was only in the early 1140s that Robert and Waleran resolved their difficulties formally.

Later he was steward, justiciar[7] and seneschal of Normandy under Henry II of England.[8]

He married Godehildis de Toni (or Conches).[9] His eldest son Henry de Neubourg (c. 1130 - 1214) inherited his lands in Normandy, while his younger son Roger de Newburgh (c. 1135 - 1192) inherited his lands in Dorset.[10] Roger was responsible for the relocation of Bindon Abbey to Wool. Henry's lands were inherited by his son, Robert II de Neubourg (c. 1175 – c. 1260).
