Gottlieb Zelmer, 95, died Saturday September 19, 1970 at Magic Valley Memorial Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho following a short illness. Burial will be in the Filer Cemtery. Filer, Idaho.

He was born August 3, 1875 in Kassel, Russia.

He had lived in Filer, Idaho for 21 years, moving from North Dakota where he had lived 45 years. He was married to Barbara Kraft. She preceded him in death in October 1943.

He later married Christina Kemmitt in June 1945 at Reaga North Dakota.

He had served in the Russian Army. He farmed for a number of years in the United States until his retirement.

Mr Zelmer had made his home for the past three years at Skyview Manor. He was a member of the Mennonite Church.

Survivors include his wife, Twin Falls, Idaho; six sons, Emil Zelmer, Portland, Oregon; Jake Zelmer and Alvin Zelmer, both of Marysville, Washington; Albert Zelmer, San Jose, California; Herbert Zelmer, Auburn, Indiana; and Robert Zelmer, Everett, Washington; three daughters, Mrs Herbert (Ida) Lang, Filer, Idaho; Mrs Lydia Bender, Lodi, California; and Mrs Sam (Marie) Seibel, Harvery, North Dakota.

Also two step-sons, Albert Kemmit, Anamoose, North Dakota; and Bert Kemmit, McClusky, North Dakota; three step-daughters, Mrs Martha Adam, Filer, North Dakota; Mrs Lester (Lena) McNeil, Shoshone, Idaho; and Mrs Elmer (Alice) Diggins, Modesto, California and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
