Notes say that Gottlieb was a Count in Prussia. His son Franz had a disagreement with his father and emigrated to the United States. The nobelman sent a German delegation to Fort Leavenworth to speak to Franz (Francis). He refused to talk to them. He was said to be a Captain in Wilhelm's Guard.
