Grace P Weatherford

Grace P. Weatherford, age 96, passed away March 2, 2011 in Palm Springs, Calif. She was born in Ely, Minn., on June 21, 1914 to parents William and Mellin Avery of Cornwall, England.

She lived 64 happy years in Palm Springs. During this time she was involved with many clubs and organizations including the Palm Springs Business Woman's Club, Gaslight Gaieties, Palm Springs Desert Does, Shadow Mountain Gem and Mineral Society, and Mizell Senior Center.

Grace married Everett P. Weatherford in Long Beach, Calif. on February 5, 1933 and enjoyed 50 years together before his death on February 15 1983. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dianne J. Reichle on December 25, 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Betty J. Scaramella/Tessman and son-in-law John; former son-in-law, Allen S. Reichle; grandchildren John E. Reichle, David A. Reichle (April), Kimberly J. Stomberg, R. Chris Scaramella; great-grandchildren Ken Reichle, Calle Reichle, Taylor Reichle; great-great-grandchildren Kate, Sarah, and Macen.
