Curator Note: a cross check with the Wikipedia page for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Perpignan-Elne does not identify a person Guillem Dalmau as a bishop during this time frame in its list of bishops.
Noting in the genealogical tree of Rocaberti in the The Gran Enciclopèdia Catalana it shows two brothers named Dalmau. I believe that to be an error and the name of the canon of Elna actually Guillem Dalmau as indicated in fmgMedlands, however it’s also important to note the differences in the death date with fmgMedlands giving it as after 11 June 1142 and the GEC as 1072. The GEC also shows an identical entry fro Dalmau canon of Girona dead in 1072. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Perpignan–Elne Is located in Elna, The Roman Catholic Diocese of Perpignan–Elne adjacent to the northern Spanish frontier, ie Catalonia. A cross check with the list of bishops serving the diocese of Gerona show no bishops with this name.
The proper generation for this person is in question.
