Guri Endresdotter Håvik

Guri was born at the farm Okland in the Valestrand Annex of Stord parish.The witnesses to her christening were Lars Wlaer, Ole Tvedt, Brithe Walen, Eli Walen, and Guri Walen. Hans and Guri were married at her home church at Valestrand. When they married, Guri was thirty years of age, while Hans was only twenty-three.

Guri married Hans Danielsen on 23 March 1818 at Stord Parish. At the time of their marriage, Hans was referred to as "Hans Danielsen Voll, age 23" and Guri was referred to as "girl Guri Endresdatter Økland, age 30."<ref>Record of the Marriage of Hans Danielsen and Guri Endresdatter. Hans and Guri had five children, all of whom lived to adulthood, including: Ingrid, born 1819; Endre, born 1821 (moved to Stavanger in 1852); Margrete, born 1822; Daniel, born 1825 (capsized at sea and was lost together with Tolleiv H. Guri died in 1831, at the age of 43, leaving Hans with five young children, ages twelve through four.
