Gustava Lende immigrated to America with her Parents when she was 13 yrs old. Gustava immigrated from Norway abt. 1879. Her Family settled at a farm west of Cottonwood, Lyon County Minnesota USA. Gustava married Nicolai Pedersen in 1886 in Lucas, Lyon Co. MN. Nicolai also immigrated from Norway in 1880. They were in the farming industry. Gustava and Nicolai raised their children in Friendship, Yellow Medicine MN. They are survived by many relatives.

Gustava Lende Pedersen Gustava Pedersen passed away June 2, 1953 at the Clarksfield Hospital in Clarksfield Minnesota at age 87 yrs. Gustava was born in Stavanger Norway Feb. 8, 1866 to Ole and Gretha Kverneland Lende. She came with her Parents to America when she was 13 yrs old. They settled on a farm in Lyon County Minnesota. In 1886 Gustava was united in marriage to Nicolai Pedersen and they moved to a farm in Clarkfield MN. There were eleven children in the family, seven of whom are still living. They are Nora (Mrs. Adolf Mossige) of Cottonwood Minnesota, Oscar, Leonard and Sylvia (Mrs. Lester Miller) of Clarksfield, Nettie (Mrs. Maxwell Wait) of Granite Falls Minnesota, George Pederson of Copenhagen Denmark and Bergilot (Mrs. E.R. Larson) of Anoka Minnesota. There are 23 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. One Sister, Mrs. Bertha Mauland survives of the 4 sisters and 3 brothers in the Lende Family.

Gustava's Husband Nicolai and four Daughters preceded her in Death. They were Christine (Mrs. Arnt Ree), Grethe ( Mrs. W.L. Paul), Ella (Mrs. Charles Berdeen) and Ruth (Mrs. Herbert Jacobson)

Gustava's Philosophy of Life sustained her through many trials and won her many friends. Blessed be her Memory.

Leonard's Obituary sited his Parents Nicolai Njolstad Peterson and Gustava Lende Peterson. Leonard was born in Friendship Township MN and attended a country school and school in Cottonwood. Leonard worked construction. Leonard worked construction during WWII in the Pearl Harbor Navy Yards for four years. Leonard also worked construction in Chicago. Leonard married Camilla Jacobson and they had children. Leonard's Obituary includes his Siblings names. In 1979 George Peterson was living in Laguna Hills California.
