The year of birth on Guye's gravestone is incorrect. He was born in 1898, not 1889. On the 1900 census he is age 1, born in Jul 1898, on the 1910 census he is age 10, on the 1920 census he is age 21, and on the 1930 census he is age 32. His Social Security Death Index record and his Texas death certificate both list his birth date as 1 Jul 1898, and his obituary abstract in Legacy of Kin, Vol. II, 1958-1992 (by Harold G. Felty) lists it as 2 Jul 1898.
It is unknown if he is actually buried in the Digby Cemetery, as there is no death date on the stone.
