About Gwen Evelyn Smythe

Gwen met Dandy at a YFC dance in the late 1930's. They became engaged at the beginning of WW2 and married when he was on leave for 1 week in 1942. In Jun 1945 they moved to Blue Gum Flats with 1 mth old peter. After Dandy dies dhe moved to Riversdale Village where she was known as the 'date scone' lady. Dandy was one of 6 sons.
