I was graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation in 1957 and at the same time got married with my beloved wife Ramlah Zahri.During my employment with the Ministry of Transportation Republic of Indonesia I was appointed respectively as Assistent Secretary of Shipping License Committee, Head Division of Ocean Going Vessels, Assistant to the Head of Merchant Marine Law, Head of Public Relations Department of Transportation, Director of Inlandwaterways and Ferries, Head of Education & Training Directorate General of Land Transportation. During my employment with the Ministry of Transportation, I took my Drs degree in Economics at the University Of Indonesia. After retired from the Ministry of Transportation, I was employed at the Trisakti Foundation as official as well as lecturer at the Trisakti Higher Education in Transport (STMT Trisakti). During my service at the foundation I took my Magister Degree in Management.
