In 1885 census Hugh and family are still shown in Mounds View, Ramsey County, MN

In the 1900 Census, he is shown in Ward 9, Mpls, Hennepin County, MN age 65 , Sarah Gilbey Hanlon age 49, Myrtle age 10 and his mother-in-law Eliza Jane Gilbey age 80. In 1910 census Myrtle and Eliza Jane at 90 yrs reside with them.
