Marriage to Richard Knott Sr Dr surgeon 1672 — Age: 25 Marblehead, Essex, Massachusetts, USA iv. HANNAH, m. (2) RICHARD KNOTT, surgeon, who d. in 1684. Her second marriage. His (Peter Greenfield's) widow married, secondly Richard Knott. Hannah married second Dr. Richard Knott.

Hannah Knott House
Peter Greenfield owned this lot in 1667, apparently died possessed of it before 1691. His widow Hannah married, secondly, Richard Knott,; and, thirdly, Joseph Sweat of Marblehead, cordwainer, before 1708. Mr. and Mrs. Sweat conveyed this land and house, "in which we now dwell," to their son-in-law Thomas Martin (who married Eleanor Knott), May 8, 1708. Mr. Martin owned the lot of land in 1716, but how long it stood is unknown to the writer.

Relationship between Hannah Knott and Joseph Sweat: Eleanor Knott was the daughter of Hannah and Richard Knott. When Richard died and Hannah remarried, Joseph Sweat of Marblehead became Eleanor's step-father.
