Hannah, daughter of Samuel and Desire (Barker) Kent, was born at Marshfield, MA on August 4, 1737. After her mother's death her father was appointed guardian on October 7, 1745.

She married Nathan Brewster, as his second wife, at Kingston, MA on February 14, 1760. Hannah and Joshua resided at Duxbury, MA where they had four children.

Hannah died at Duxbury on June 4, 1776.
