About Hannah Wingfield
Hannah Wingfield is a mystery woman. Her parents are unknown. She was born in Charles City County, Virginia probably in the mid-1670's and died in Surry County, Virginia in 1732. She married Jarvis Wingfield in 1695 and had seven children.
Jarvis was born in 1669 in Albemarle County, Virginia and died in 1756 in Charles City County, Virginia. Read his overview for the search for his parents' information.
Hannah is usually identified as the daughter of Thomas Wynne and Agnes Stith. BUT, if this is true, that means that Hannah's daughter Martha would've married her uncle, Thomas Wynne II (also a child of Thomas Wynne and Agnes Stith) -- not a legal possibility! In addition, Hannah was not listed as an heir in Thomas Wynne's will.
Jarvis Wingfield, and Hannah had the following children:
- Elizabeth Wingfield
- Mary Wingfield
- William Wingfield,
- Martha Wingfield
- John Wingfield
- Edward Wingfield
- Judith Wingfield

Llewellyn? not certain but probably a relative to the Wynnes). Jarvis (1669-1756) was the son of William Wingfield who died 1676 in Charles City (today's Prince George County) and his wife a Miss Dix, daughter of Jarvis Dix (b. 1616, immigrated by 1636).
