On 2 May 1702 Hans T. Covert and Borgan Broucard (Brokaw) bought 2000 acres for 400 pounds in Somerset County, New Jersey. The land was bordered on the north by the Raritan River and on the northwest by the Millstone River. Hans T. Covert died 2 May 1719in Millstone, Somerset County, New Jersey. Jannetje Brokaw died in 1719 or 1722in Flagtown, Raritan, Somerset County, New Jersey.
