He was a mechanic and heavy equipment operation in Oregon until he retired in 1991. He moved to Missoula in 1993. Survivors include four sisters, Erma Monroe of Rigby, Idaho; Cleotield Carlsen of Pocatello, Idaho; Dorothy Williams of Boise, Idaho; and Donna Williams of Butte. No services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Garden City Funeral Home and Chapel in Missoula. Location of ashes are unknown.
