About Harold Edward Darragh
Professional Hockey Player. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, he was the brother of John Proctor 'Jack' Darragh. At 5'09, and 145lbs, he played the position of right wing for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1925 to 1930, Philadelphia Quakers from 1930 to 1931, Boston Bruins from 1930 to 1931, and Toronto Maple Leafs from 1931 to 1933. He retired from hockey with a NHL career of 308 games played, 68 goals, 49 assists, 117 points, and 50 minutes in penalties. He later returned to his native Ottawa, Ontario, where he became a refrigerator repairman. He died there in April 1993 at the age of 90.
