Was the second wife of Joseph Russell. She had four children, one of which was the renowned photographer, Andrew Russell. Andrew Russell began his career as a local painter and writing teacher, did extensive photography as a Captain in the Union Army in the Civil War, and after the War became the leading photographer during the building of the transcontinental railroad. He took the famous photographs of the two engines meeting at Promontory Point Utah.
