I think Harry was formerly enslaved- sold to David Satterwhite after death of Samuel. </line><line /><line>Harry is shown in 1870 as a 'blacksmith" worth $125 capital and listed as a jobber doing all types of repairs. There is a booklet done by Alma Peace-Bullock and starts out with John Satterwhite as aCaucasian who married a Cherokee Indian - perhaps really Tuscarora or Lumbee? . A son was Harry Satterwhite (Mulatto) b. 1824-1899 and he had 11 children, one being Harry Satterwhite, Jr. b. 1856-1939. </line><line /><line>Judie Satterwhite Balacke</line><line /><line>Harry also m to Chavis, Ritter?
