Mrs. George D. Woychik
INDEPENDENCE, Wis. (Special) - Mrs. George D. Woychik, 66, died Monday at 6:20 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Arcadia, after a long illness. She had been a patient there five months.
The former Hedwig H. Pyka, she was born Sept. 21, 1898, in Town of Montana to Charles Pyka and Agnes Przybilla, immigrants from Poppealeau, Germany. She was married Feb. 16, 1920, at Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the women's organization at the church.
Survivors are: Her husband; two brothers, Clements and George, both of Independence, and four sisters, Mrs. Sophia Tempski and Mrs. August (Helen) Sobotta, both of Arcadia, and Mrs. Paul (Julia) Rombalski and Mrs. Lawrence (Frances) Bautch, both of Independence. Her parents, three sisters and two brothers have died.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Edmund J. Klimek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Kern Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. The Rosary will be said at 8 this evening and Wednesday evening.
Pallbearers will be Alphonse Woychik, Edmund Pyka, Ed G. Bautch, Hyacinth Tempski, Ray R. Reck and Leonard Hesch. Banner carrier will be Edmund Halama.
