About Heinrich (Chajim) Reitzenberger
". . . a highly respected businessman who first exported cattle to Saxony and to Prussia, but changed over to hops on the advice of his wife and father-in-law. He later moved to Bamberg where his wife became famous by her industry, her thrift and reliability. This marriage was excellent and her stepson Simon (from the first marriage) never felt that she was not his mother and always highly respected her."
From Moritz Tuchmann's memoirs (translated by Otto Metzger)
Heinrich Reitzenberger's first wife, Hanna (born Kupfer) died at age 25 two days after the birth of her second child, Heinrich.
