Dr. Henry Selver, Director of Social Welfare Services of the American Joint Distribution Committee, died last week in Paris at the age of 55. writes our PARIS CORRESPONDENT. Dr. Selver was born in Poland and was educated in Germany, before settling in the United States. He went to Paris in 1949 to direct the Paul Bacrwald School of Social Work, which in 1955 was converted into the "Joint's" Department of Social Welfare Services and Personnel Development.
