About Heinrich von Tunna

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_von_Tunna

Heinrich von Tunna , called Heinrich Bart (also Herman Bart ; † June 2, 1209 ), was the third Grand Master of the Teutonic Order from 1208 to 1209.

He was a ministerial to Landgrave Hermann I of Thuringia , Count Palatine of Saxony . He probably belonged to the von Thüna family .

In 1208 he went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land . To finance the trip, he left a piece of forest on the Ettersberg that he owned to the Reinhardsbrunn monastery and received 10 silver marks for it.

In Palestine he entered the Teutonic Order and was elected Grand Master that same year. The reasons for his rapid rise are unclear. He died in 1209 and was buried in Acre
