Helen D. DeLong, 91, formerly of 240 E. Arch St., Fleetwood, died Saturday in Kutztown Manor. She was the wife of the late Robert E. DeLong.
She was an assistant in the dyeing department of the former Oakbrook Hosiery Co., Reading, for 28 years, retiring in 1958. Born in Bally, she was a daughter of the late Frank B. and Elizabeth (Bauer) Fox. She was a member of United Church of Christ of New Jerusalem Union Church, Fleetwood.
Survivors: Sisters, Minnie B. Weidner of Kutztown, Minerva F. Sell of Wyomissing, Berks County, and Bertha A., wife of C. Robert Schlegel of Fleetwood, and brothers, Warren B. and Harold B., both of Fleetwood. She was predeceased by a daughter, Esta Mae.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis St., Topton.
