About Henderikus Vallier Newkirk
He resided for a time in Berkley County, where he was appointed constable in 1746. A Court record at Winchester, Virgiina, dated August 5, 1752 states that :on moation of Peter Newkirk, Henry Newkirk, John Hoagland, Jacobus Hoagland and Teunis Hood are added to the list of tithables." He alter settled in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, and later still in Farifield County, Ohio; descendatns of, in Indiana and Kentucky.
