Hendl Petershagen

In 1562 Hendle wrote an appendix to the letter of Moyse Petershagen to their sons in Frankfurt. The letter was addressed to their sons Loeb and Hirz. There is no explicit evidence for Hendl being the mother of Samuel. However, Samuel had a daughter Chana. Women with the name Chana are often called Hendel in Yiddish.
