Henrietta Anne Carleton, Baroness Dorchester

Henrietta Anne Carleton, Baroness Dorchester was the daughter of Guy Carleton, 3rd Baron Dorchester and Anne Wauchope. She married, firstly, Francis Paynton Pigott, son of Francis Pigott, in 1864. She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. Richard Langford Leir in 1887.

She died on 2 March 1925.

In 1899 her name was legally changed to Henrietta Anne Carleton by Royal Licence. She was created 1st Baroness Dorchester, of Dorchester, co. Oxford [U.K.] on 2 August 1899.
