Henrietta Jensrud Olson

Died of a stroke.

Hattie married Conrad Olson on July 11, 1907- I remember this big celebration for their 50th anniversary at Trinity Lutheran Church in Crookston. A very fancy affair for the very poor couple- but they maybe deserved it since, according to the grapevine, she and Conrad eloped! She even climbed down a ladder to get to him where he was waiting with his horse and buggy. The poor little girl was running off with an old man of 33- Guess she knew what she wanted and when I told her I was marrying John she advised against it- she thought he was too young for me!

Her actual name is Augusta I think. Henrietta too- so it is Hattie, Haddie- who knows?????? She is unforgetable no matter what name we use!
