Raised hogs, and other animals. sold at market Orchards of apple trees and other fruit, sold at market Have his tax listing for selling. ON it it states his father was born in Maryland. Built many bridges, some schools, churches and designed a free standing spiral staircase , first of it's kind. Have newspaper clipping. Waynesburg newspaper. Helped build homes also.
I suspect he was more of an architect than farmer but one farmed to survive then. He was known also for his apples.
