Confederate veteran.
Mr. Larguier was born in East Baton Rouge parish, where he was a planter until about 40 years ago, when he moved to New Orleans. Later he was connected with the Diamond Paper Company and he remained with that company until his retirement four years ago. During the War Between the States Mr. Larguier served in Company a, Miles Legion, and under General Fred Ogden and General J. E. B. Stuart. He was paroled in 1865.
