About Henry Ward Morgan
Henry Ward Morgan founded the Machinery Construction Co. in 1894 and by 1899 the firm had changed its name to Morgan Machine Co. which was located at University Avenue and Culver Road, Rochester, NY. where Henry was president. He received numerous patents for his machines from 1897-1932.
Henry served as president of the Rochester Chamber. He helped organize the Boy Scout Council in 1910 in which he was known as the father of the Boy Scout movement in Rochester, and served as its president.
In 1912 Henry founded and headed as president, Otetiana Council of the Boy Scouts, until he retired in 1930.
