Henry Emil Vogt

After helping on his parent;s farm he served in the U. S Army Medics during Word War II from 1942-1946. He served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater and was stationed down-town Osaka, Japanjust before returning to U.S. for discharge from service. He was married December 16, 1949 at Dixon, Illinois. Henry worked at Parrish Alfred machinist and Fece Company at Rock Fall, Illinois. in 1951 they moved to the farm they own near Lamberton, Minnesota and farmed until 1979 when he had a heart attack and open heart surgery for a large aneurysm. They retired on their farm and their son Myron farmsthe land for them. They have four children.
