Judge Parrington Saturday married Henry C. Wood and Nancy Eastman, both of Pike Township.

On Saturday evening Judge Parrington united two couples in marriage, Henry C. Wood of Pike township and Nancy F. Eastman of the same place; also, Asa Richardson of Emporia and Maude Pratt of Bittlertown.

H. C. Wood Dead.

H. C. Wood died at 9 o'clock last night at his home, five miles north of Reading. He had been sick over a year with Bright's disease and his death was expected. Mr. Wood formerly lived nine miles southwest of Emporia on the Triggs farm and moved to Reading three years ago. Besides his wife he leaves ten children. No funeral arrangements have been made.

Note: Bright's disease is today known as nephrititis, a type of kidney disease.
