About Herbert Hilton Farnham
Mr. Herbert Hilton Farnham, who died suddenly at Felixstowe road, Payneham. was the youngest son of the late Mr. Giles Farnham, of Cudlee Creek, and was born at Cudlee Creek in 1873. As a boy, he attended the Millbrook school, the head teacher being the late Mr. J. H. Risely. About 40 years ago he removed with his family to Paradise. He married Miss Amy Heading, of Campbelltown, and they subsequently made their home at Payneham. Not being of robust health of late years, Mr. Farnham lived mostly a quiet life, and was much respected in the district. His widow, a daughter, and two sons survive him, also two sisters. Nurse Farnham, of Payneham, and Miss Lily Farnham. of Western Australia, and a brother, Mr. Wilfred Farnham, of Paradise.
The death occurred recently at the home at Yorketown of Mr. R O. Law a highly respected resident, who had been in. ill-health for some time.
Deceased was brn at Ballarat. and educated in Ballarat and Melbourne. Later Mr. Law came to South Australia, and about twelve years ago. with his wife and family, settled in Yorketown. He was a member of the school committee and library committee, as well as an active member of the race club. A widow and two daughters, Mrs. V. D. Wallls and Miss Shirley Law, survive.
