Hermannus Josephus Putz

The birth is recorded in the Catholic church at Einsiedl on March 16, 1781,Tomus 4, page 135. The child was born in Einsiedl House # 59 to owner Casparus Putz, Burgher and Miller and his wife Barbara. The sponsors were Hermannus Eissbach, Burgher and Miller and the witness was the sponsors wife Rosina Eissbach.

Herrmann Putz was a widower when he married Josepha Klinger on January 22, 1822 at Marienbad. Hermann was obviously well heeled as a Burgher and Master Pewter Maker with property at Einsiedl and Marienbad. Witnesses to this wedding were Johann Anton Herdler, house owner in the city of Luditz # 31, and Joseph Lehrl, house owner in the city of Luditz No. 26.
