About Hermine (Mieze) Stiassni
"Hermine nee Weinmann, came from a family of North Bohemian coal enterprises and the family of Alfred Stiassny was devoted mainly to the textile industry." http://bydleni.idnes.cz/vila-stiassni-zapomenuty-skvost-brnenske-ar...
"When Alfred Stiassni married Hermína Weinmann in 1909, it was a merger of two prominent German Jewish families. His father, Joseph, had come with his parents to Brno in the second half of the 19th century and gradually built a small factory for men's suits into a thriving enterprise. His son Alfred became involved in the family business in 1924. Like his wife, Alfred was accustomed to living in luxury. Hermina had been raised in Usti nad Labem. Her father owned several coal mines in the Ústecku and his family built a house with eighteen rooms and several lounges, which looked like a castle."
