Biography
Beklyarbek Mamai saved one of the sons of Uzbek Khan, Abdullah, and sent him to the Crimea and from there to Byzantium . After the assassination of Khan Timur-Khodja with the support of Mamai in 1361, Abdullah was proclaimed Khan of the western part of the Ak Horde in the Crimea. During his reign in 1363-1368 a coin was minted.

In 1367, Mamai captured the Golden Horde capital Sarai al-Jadid , and Abdullah was proclaimed Khan of the Golden Horde. Ruled nominally, on his behalf ruled the state Mamai.

In 1368, Mamai, having left Khan Abdullah in Sarai, went to the Crimea to suppress the speech directed against him. Meanwhile, Abdullah Khan could not keep the capital and surrendered it to Uljai-Timur . But soon the latter, in turn, was driven out of Saray in the same year by the shibanid Hassan , the nephew of Mir-Pulad . The reign of Hassan Khan did not last long - already in 1369 he was expelled from Sarai by Mamai, and Abdullah Khan was returned to the Khan's throne.

Abdullah Khan died in 1370, and Mamai proclaimed the 10-year-old son of Abdullah Bulak as Khan of the Golden Horde under the regency of his wife Tulunbek Khanum , daughter of Berdibek .
