Born 6 Oct 1722 and baptized 14 Apr 1723 at Stonington, New London Co., CT, son of Nehemiah and Zerviah (STANTON) MASON.
He married first 19 Nov 1748 at First Congregational Church of Stonington, CT. to Margaret COPP, dau.of Jonathan COPP, Jr. and Margaret (STANTON) COPP.
They had children:
