He was born April 15, 1735 at Rehoboth, the son of Daniel and Tabitha (Bowen) Wheaton. Their child, from Daniel Barney's will of 1774: 317. Charles6 Wheaton. Anna (Barney) married, second, March 30, 1760, to §151 Joseph Saunders, born November 23, 1734 at Haverhill, the son of Jacob and Ann4 (Barney) Saunders. Ann (Barney) died December 2, 1765, aged 32, and is buried at the Thomas Cemetery, Barneyville. Her widower, Joseph Saunders, married second, August 10, 1766, Hopestill Luther. He died January 2, 1783, aged 49, and is also buried at the Thomas Cemetery in Barneyville. Children from Daniel Barney's will of 1774: 318. John6 Saunders. 319. Sarah6 Saunders.
