About Hugh Brady
Hugh Brady was the godfather of Judge F.P. Brady. Dad's notes from way back say Hugh Brady's mother's maiden name was Mulligan. In 1877 and 1879 dad found records saying that Patrick brady (FP Brady's dad) bought land from Cornelius Mulligan, $200 for first one, $100 for second one, cheap even then. Each deeed had an Ann Mullican as releasing dower.) Patrick put up a house BETWEEN those two spots of land. Then he gave a mortgage to Rose and Ann Kiernan 3/4 acre for $1000. In 1886 Patrick, says Dad from records, deeded an undivided half interest in the property to Edward Brady, probably his son. By then the Kiernan mortgage was discharged. Edward then deeded the undivided half to his mother, Mary Ann Brady. So at the end of that day, she owned half interest and her husband Patrick die. IN 1892 Patrick died, leadving the title half to Mary Ann his wife, and other half 2/3 to the kids, 1/3 to Mary Ann. Then all the kids got together and deeded their interest to her. Except for the sheds.
