AIR CRASH
OFFICER KILLED
An officer of the Royal New Zealand Air Force was killed and an airman pilot under training was seriously injured yesterday when ari aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. crashed during a training flight. Pilot Officer Hugh Maxwell McGill, R.N.Z.A.F., whose next-of-kin is his father, Mr. Hugh McGill, Rona Street, Eastbourne, was killed. Leading Aircraftman Geoffrey Rogers, R.N.Z.A.F., whose next-of-kin is his father, Mr. A. G. Rogers, 115 Road, "Dunedin, was seriously injured and admitted to.hospital.
