- LYDIA GRIFFIN, b. Abt. 1648; m. MARTIN FORD, March 05, 1683/84, Bradford, MA.
- SAMUEL GRIFFIN, b. Abt. 1650; m. LIDDEA.
Researchers should take care not to conflate this couple of Ipswich and their children with Hugh Griffin who died on June 27, 1656 at Sudbury. His will mentions their children: Jonathan, Abigail, Sarah, Shemuel and Hannah (Upson), daughter of his wife Elizabeth by her previous marriage.That Hugh Griffin on Sudbury married the widow Elizabeth (Unknown) Upson, married at Sudbury, Massachusetts, Hugh Griffin, widower. Her maiden name is unknown. Hugh of Sudbury did have children named
