1951 Obituary: Midvale, Utah Hyrum Brunson, 83, 151 Pioneer St., died Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at his residence of coronary thrombosis. Born Oct. 30, 1868 in Fillmore, Millard County, he was a son of Lewis and Lamira Mace Brunson. He married Clarissa A Howard Feb 24, 1892/3 in Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Jan 13 [16], 1935. On Jan 8 1936 he married Agnes Bertha [Morrow] Jenkins in Evanston, Wyo.

Mr Brunson had been retired for about 30 years and had formerly been employed as a blacksmith for the Oregon Shortline Railroad.

Survivors include his widow Midvale; four daughters Edith Brunson, Provo, and Mrs Beatrice Anderson, Mrs Clarissa Anderson, Mrs Ardella Penman, all of Salt Lake; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Salt Lake Tribune, Mon July 2, 1951, Pg 20.
